The vintage guide to Leamington

For being such a small town, Leamington has a surprising amount of hidden vintage treasures. It took us more than a year to find some of these places so to save everyone's time we present to you our vintage guide to Leamington Spa. (New places will be added so do check back here once in a while!)

(All the photos are from the shop's websites or facebook pages, that they've kindly let us use for this post.)

VINTAGE

Blighty Bazaar
13 -15 Kenilworth Street
Whatever you're looking for, the winner of the Best Regional Shop category by the National Vintage Awards 2014 has it. With over 100 sellers of vintage, vintage reproduction clothing, china, hand-made goods and even a tea room, it can be a bit overwhelming at first, but after looking closer you'd probably be able to spend weeks admiring all of the loveliness that is Blighty.

They also have a website, as well as a facebook page:

Loot Vintage Warehouse
Creative Archway Arches, Court st.
'Let everyone else dress the same, F@*k the hight street. No apologies!'. Loot specialise in unique, good quality vintage clothing from the 60s-90s. With their always stylishly dressed staff, good music and their very own photo booth, the atmosphere at Loot is great. Definitely on our shop crawl list!

Braderie Vintage & New
51 Warwick Street
One true and ultimate vintage thrift-shop in Leamington Spa. It's organised chaos; if you like the experience of browsing, it's like finding buried treasure. They also offer a generous amount of men's clothes, which can be rare in many other vintage shops! Braderie is filled with cool stuff for reasonable prices.

Tunnel Vintage
7, The Creative Arches, Court Street
'We restore it, love it and sell it!' amazing vintage furniture store, where you can find things, you never even have thought about seeing! We recommend the place for those who need to furnish or decorate their house or boring student room and want something more extravagant than another peace of plastic from IKEA.

CHARITY SHOPS
There are so many of these! Just take a walk down Regent street or the Parade and the whole day won't be enough to check out every charity shop here. Prices are low and there are always some hidden treasures to find. If not clothes - interior details, vases and glasses for your new house or boringly looking dorm room for only 1 or 2 pounds!

One of the most popular vintage destinations in Leamington! It's a quintessential tearoom with good quality tea, coffee, locally baked cakes and breads, everything served on beautiful vintage china. The pretty interior makes you feel like you're on a movie set - the perfect place for an idyllic brunch or a cozy tea party.
